David Warner has been the legend of the game and has served Australia with great distinction across formats for over a decade now. He is now at the fag end of his career and with World Cup 2023 approaching, the man is looking in great touch once again.

In the first game of the three-match ODI series against India, Warner has started off with a bang and though Australia lost Mitchell Marsh early, Warner is playing an aggressive brand of cricket. He has now etched his name in history books with another record as he became the 7th player from Australia to hit 100 sixes in ODIs.

Talking about the ball, that got took him to the landmark. It was a tad short delivery on middle. Warner was quick to gauge the length, went back and slammed it over deep mid-wicket for a six in the first delivery of the second over. He eventually got to his fifty as well in 49 balls but Jadeja got rid of him on 52 in the 19th over of the game.

Ricky Ponting tops the list for most sixes from the Aussies with 159 sixes while the likes of Gilchrist (148), Shane Watson (131) forming the top 3.

Warner had a torrid time in Test cricket recently, but got back to form in the ODI series against South Africa and now is a key asset with his experience and skills for Australia in their bid to clinch their sixth 50-over World Cup title.
