The big clash between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is looming under the rain threat at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow as the home team posted 125 on the board in 19.2 overs. The match halted at a crucial juncture and with rain pouring in, there is quite an uncertainty over the restart of this encounter.
Now, the committee has announced the cut-off timings assuming LSG doesn't bat again and CSK have a target in hand.
The final time to restart the game is 7:28 PM IST for a five-over match which would require 42 runs to take the two points for CSK.
Other than that, the 10-over contest would mean 76 runs while 12 & 15 overs would have 89 and 106 runs, respectively.
Adding to this, the visuals coming from the ground don't look promising and it is likely that the match will be called off.
Earlier, CSK won the toss and opted to bowl first on a tough batting track as the home side lost five wickets for 44 inside the first ten overs.
However, a wonderful rescuing innings from Ayush Badoni saved their day as they somehow managed 125 before rain intervened.
