The major breaking from the Indian Premier League (IPL) has finally arrived as the rain stopped and finally, we're all set for the game to begin. According to the latest playing conditions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will need to chase down 171 in a fifteen-over game that would begin at 12:10 AM IST.

The news comes after various inspections were held over time which finally resulted in umpires and teams coming on the same page regarding the scheduled start time. Previously, Gujarat Titans' (GT) head coach Ashish Nehra didn't seem pleased with the side pitches inside the square as there were quite a few wet patches.

The playing conditions will permit four overs of Powerplay and a maximum of three overs per bowler.

Therefore, a total of 44 runs have been reduced alongside five overs which could work in favour of the batting team.

Earlier, Gujarat batted first and were able to post 214 on the board with a magnificent effort from Sai Sudarshan who thumped an outstanding 96 with eight fours and six maximums.

In case, we're not able to complete atleast five overs, the match would be awarded to Gujarat Titans as they ended on a higher position on the points table.
