India, trailing 0-2 in the three-One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia, found themselves bearing the brunt of Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield in the ongoing third encounter at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 

Australia skipper Healy, and youngster Litchfield, who have struggled in the first two ODIs opening the innings, showcasing their might as a pair in Mumbai, where the visitors' are aiming for a series clean sweep.

The duo also created history, breaking past Australia's highest-opening stand (140) against India in ODIs, which former captain Shelley Nitschke and Alex Blackwell held since 2008. The partnership was eventually broken by Pooja Vastrakar as the opening stand was ended at 189. 

Nitschke and Blackwell slammed a 140-run in the fifth ODI in Canberra while chasing 178.

Former skipper Meg Lanning and Nicole Bolton feature third on the list, hitting a 138-run stand against India, helping their side chase down 253 in the second ODI at Hobart.

The highly successful pair of Healy and former opener Rachel Haynes makes appearances in the No.4 and No.5 positions with stands of 126 and 121, coming in 2021 and 2022, respectively at Mackay and Auckland.
