Virat Kohli pounded a match-winning century against New Zealand to guide Team India to the finals of the 2023 World Cup. As the entire cricketing spectrum braces itself for India’s forthcoming title clash against Australia, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif seems to be as excited as every other cricket enthusiast in the country.

Moreover, Kaif recently shared a special message for Virat Kohli, just a day prior to the World Cup 2023 final in Ahmedabad. Interestingly, the two dazzling personalities also happens to be neighbors as they stay in the same upscale housing society in Mumbai.

Katrina Kaif calls Virat Kohli an inspiration

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif recently took to her Instagram account to chat with her fans. When one of her followers asked her to give her take on Indian batting legend Virat Kohli, she responded:

“Superstar, inspiration...and the most lovely neighbour.”

Katrina Kaif also expressed her excitement over India’s forthcoming World Cup 2023 final against Australia. During a recent interaction with PTI, she said that she has been cheering for Team India and the entire tournament has been a delight to watch.

The Bollywood star, along with her husband Vicky Kaushal, have been staying at the same housing society in Mumbai as Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma.

Kohli, meanwhile, has emerged as one of the most integral members of the Indian team in their unbeaten World Cup 2023 crusade so far alongside captain Rohit Sharma. The middle-order stalwart has already listed eight fifty-plus scores in the tournament, and has converted three of them into match-winning centuries.

The 35-year-old is currently leading the competition’s run-scoring race, considering the right-hander has already tallied 711 runs to his name in just 10 innings. Kohli might well extend his record further when he takes field for India in their World Cup 2023 final against Australia in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19.
