Over the past few months, Pakistan cricketer, Shoaib Malik has mostly been in the news for the wrong reasons. In January 2024, he dropped a bombshell, announcing his wedding with his new wife Sana Javed. 

Amidst all this, Shoaib Malik has, once again, found himself in a controversy for allegedly sending flirtatious messages to a Pakistan actress named Nawal Saeed. 

Before that, there were several reports promoting an estranged relationship between Malik and Sania Mirza. The reports also stated that the duo were headed for a divorce. 

And a few months after Malik’s shocking revelation, Sania Mirza’s sister dropped a statement, which confirmed that the two had officially separated. 

"Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead! At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy," reads the post.

It is worth mentioning that before Sania Mirza, the Pakistan cricketer was, earlier, married to a woman named Ayesha Siddique. 


Did Shoaib Malik send flirty messages to Pakistani actress Nawal Saeed? 

The ‘Dagh-E-Dil’ star recently appeared as a special guest on a Ramazan special show in Pakistan. During an informal chat, the host of the show had asked her if Pakistani actors tried to flirt with her on texts via social media apps. 

The actress, in reply, claimed that not actors but Pakistan cricketers often tried to get into her DMs and send flirtatious messages. To that, the host took the names of Naseem Shah and Shoaib Malik and asked if they were the ones who texted her, leaving the actress in splits. 

While Nawal Saeed didn’t give a clear response to that, her laughter led to speculations if Shaoib Malik had actually sent her flirtatious messages.
