The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 ended in disappointment for Team India, who, despite being in-form and dominating, faulted in the final against Australia last evening.

Led by Rohit Sharma, India came into the final with ten successive wins under their belt, which seemed many moons ago, seeing their poor performance with the bat against Australia in a jam-packed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, much to the dismay of fans.

Despite Virat Kohli scoring 54, India failed to put a fighting total on the board, folding for 240. In reply, Australia chased the total with relative ease, following a hundred from Travis Head and a determined fifty from Marnus Labuschagne.

With several fans expressing their anger on Team India over social media platforms, several celebrities and high-profile people have urged Indians to support their team and celebrate their show in the World Cup 2023.

Amongst all the actors and politicians, one name that has urged fans to back Team India is Virat Kohli's sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, who took to Instagram. In her post, Bhawna penned a heartfelt caption for brother Virat while asking for support from fans in this time of hardship.

Here's what Bhawna captioned for Virat

"Virat you have made us so so proud that there is nothing more that we could ask for love you # Proud forever."

"I know we all expected a different result but we are with you TEAM INDIA because you don't give up on your family when they fall. In fact that's the time we support them."

Kohli ended the World Cup 2023 with the most runs (765), taking home the 'Player Of The Tournament' award.
