Once again, Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma garnered attention from the media as he chose to skip the team bus and travel to the stadium in his own Range Rover autobiography ahead of MI’s first home game of the IPL 2024 season against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 1.

The Hitman finds himself in his hometown, a place where he has accomplished so much. The Indian skipper thoroughly enjoys every chance to compete in familiar surroundings and was spotted in a relaxed state, driving his luxury Range Rover.

While all other players went on the team bus, Rohit carried himself with swagger as he chose to reach the iconic Wankhede Stadium in the comfort of his own car.

What caught the eye even more was the special number plate on Rohit's car. With the digits '264', commemorates his record-breaking individual score in ODI cricket achieved in 2014 against Sri Lanka in Kolkata, Rohit added a personal touch to his vehicle.

Known for his penchant for luxury cars, Rohit boasts a collection that includes some of the most prestigious models in the country, ranging from Land Rover Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz S-Class to Lamborghini Urus.

During the practice session on the eve of the match, Rohit appeared relaxed and focused, much like his usual demeanor heading into any game. This sentiment resonated throughout the Mumbai contingent present in the stadium. The right-handed batter has made a promising start with the bat, having made decent starts in both previous games.

With confidence running high, Rohit will look to notch a big score in front of his loyal fans on his home turf, where he has amassed close to 2000 IPL runs (1958 to be exact). Mumbai Indians are in dire need of a victory, and Rohit must step up to the plate with the bat on home soil.
