In match No.23 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on April 9th, 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) won the match by just a mere two runs in a close and highly-anticipated encounter against Punjab Kings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur. 

In a video that went viral on social media, The Sunrisers Hyderabad fan was performing 'Aarti' to TV visuals. Pat Cummins, Australian pace sensation, is winning hearts with his captaincy and all-round performance on the field.

In a heartwarming moment of admiration, a video was seen of the dedication of a Sunrisers Hyderabad fan who was spotted performing an Aarti to worship during the recent match against Punjab Kings. 

Pat Cummins, Australia's World Cup-winning captain, is having a magnificent relationship with his new Indian Premier League franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad. Ahead of the 2024 IPL, the speedster was appointed as the captain of SRH and from then on the player is gaining love and admiration from Indian fans. 

In the video the title song from SS Rajamouli's Telugu blockbuster 'Baahubali' was used with a caption "Captain Sir, We love you Anna,".

In the auction Sunrisers Hyderabad bought the services of Pat Cummins for a whopping sum of Rs 20.50 crore and he became the second-most-expensive player in the history of IPL. 

The franchise is placed in the fifth position in the points table, winning 3 matches out of 5. They will play there next match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 15, 2024.
