A date for the player draft for the 2023 Abu Dhabi T10 season has been announced, with all competing teams unveiling a list of their retentions and direct signings. The upcoming season marks the seventh edition of the prestigious 10-overs tournament, and it received as many as 782 applicants from across the world registering themselves for participation.

India’s T20 stars Ambati Rayudu and Yusuf Pathan have been roped in by Delhi Bulls and Bangla Tigers respectively, and the tournament will also be graced by a number of World Cup 2023 veterans like Trent Boult, Dasun Shanaka and Quinton de Kock.

List of pre-draft picks & player retentions for Abu Dhabi T10 2023

The 2023 Abu Dhabi T20 season will kick-off on November 28 at the iconic Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in UAE. All eight participating teams, namely Bangla Tigers, Chennai Braves, Deccan Gladiators, Delhi Bulls, Morrisville Samp Army, New York Strikers, Northern Warriors, and Team Abu Dhabi have announced a list of their pre-draft signings as well as players retentions.

As evidenced from the latest wave of signings, the 2023 Abu Dhabi T10 season is set to field a constellation of global white-ball stars, including the likes of Trent Boult, Shakib al Hasan, Faf du Plessis, Jason Roy, Wanindu Hasaranga, James Neesham as well as a number of West Indies T10/T20 heavyweights like Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, and Nicholas Pooran.

As has been a norm with Abu Dhabi T10 league, the upcoming 2023 edition will be played out in a round-robin format, with top four teams making it into the playoffs. The grand finale will be conducted on December 9.
