T20 Blast | WATCH: Rilee Rossouw at his devastating best in a 36-run over against Derbyshire

South Africa's Rilee Rossouw has been in red-hot form in the ongoing T20 Blast in England.

Playing for Somerset County, Rossouw has accumulated 600 runs from 15 matches at an average of 50.00, which includes seven half-centuries.

However, his lastest knock in the competition's quarterfinals blew away the opponents, Derbyshire.

The left-hander raced to a 36-ball 93 to help Somerset register the highest-ever score (265 for 5) in a T20 Blast match.

They eventually won the match by a record margin of 191 runs.

During his innings of 93, Rossouw demolished Derbyshire off-spinner Mattie McKiernan, cantering him for 36 runs in an over, with 34 runs coming off the bat.

McKiernan's final and 15th over of the Somerset innings got smacked for 36 runs - 6, 6, 4, (2nb), 6, 6, 6.

Somerset will play Hampshire in the second semi-final of the competition on July 16 at Birmingham following the win.

International call-up

The 32-year-old has been named in South Africa's T20 squad, which will play a three-match series with hosts England starting July 27.

He is expected to fill in for the injured Temba Bavuma. He last played for the Proteas in 2016, after which he signed the now-defunct Kolpak deal.

Numbers game

So far, the Bloemfontein-born has played 36 ODIs and 15 T20Is for South Africa.

However, he has played 251 T20s and has 6,409 runs with three centuries and 41 fifties.
