As many as four Group B matches of the ongoing Royal London One-Day Cup were played out on Friday. Here is a look at the high points from each of those fixtures.

Essex vs Worcestershire

After being put into bat, Essex were in a spot of bother, reeling at 135 for five at one stage. However, the heroic efforts from Robin Das and Luc Benkenstein propelled them to a respectable total of 279.

Lewis McManus provided the final flourish to power the Northants to a mammoth total of 370 at the end of fifty overs.

However, the massive target of 371 didn't prove to be enough for Lancashire, as skipper Keaton Jennings guided his team to a remarkable victory, amassing a brilliant 125 off just 105 balls. Luke Wells and keeper-batter George Lavelle also emerged as two handy contributors with the bat for the Red Roses.

Hampshire vs Glamorgan

This match turned out to be the most one-sided one yesterday as Glamorgan swatted aside Hampshire by seven wickets with 110 balls to spare.

Batting first, Hampshire could post only 228 runs on the board due to the collective failure of their batting unit. Nick Gubbins and Ian Holland slammed fighting half-centuries, but the other batters were underwhelming, to say the least.
