In a significant development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India-A squad for the unofficial ODI series against Australia-A on home soil. Swashbuckling batters Rajat Patidar and Tilak Varma have been assigned the leadership duties, while Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma haven't been included in the team for the series.
BCCI Announces Star-Studded White-Ball Squad For Australia Series
Days after confirming India-A's red-ball squad, the BCCI, on Sunday, unveiled the team that will take on the Aussies in three unofficial One-Day matches. While Rajat Patidar will lead the India-A team in the first game of the series, Tilak Varma will replace him as the skipper in the subsequent affairs.
India's four Asia Cup-bound players- Tilak, Abhishek Sharma, Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh- will join the Indian A side for the series after the conclusion of the multinational tournament. Meanwhile, renowned IPL players like Prabhsimran Singh, Riyan Parag, Ayush Badoni, Vipraj Nigam, Abhishek Porel and Priyansh Arya and Ravi Bishnoi have also found a place in the side.

2nd and 3rd one-day: Tilak Varma (Captain), Rajat Patidar (VC), Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh (WK), Riyan Parag, Ayush Badoni, Suryansh Shedge, Vipraj Nigam, Nishant Sindhu, Gurjapneet Singh, Yudhvir Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Abhishek Porel (WK), Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh.
Australia-A's India tour will kickstart with a Test series comprising two unofficial matches. The red-ball games will be followed by a One-Day leg, with both teams clashing in three 50-over encounters at Green Park in Kanpur.
