Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Jos Buttler showed his class once again during a tense run-chase against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at a packed Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Buttler's sensational century helped the Royals chase down a daunting 224-run target. 

Chasing a mammoth total, RR found themselves struggling at 121/6 at one point, needing 96 runs from the final six overs. However, Buttler unleashed a flurry of boundaries, particularly against Varun Chakaravarthy, slamming four fours in an over. 

As the innings progressed, Buttler continued to dominate and eventually pulled his team across the line.

With this century, Buttler now has the second most centuries in the cash-rich league with a total of seven. 

This accomplishment surpasses Universe Boss Chris Gayle's six centuries. 

Currently, only Royal Challengers Bengaluru's Virat Kohli (8) stands ahead of Buttler in terms of IPL tons. 

This season, Buttler has already scored two tons with the first one coming against RCB.
