Nepal's magnificent 3-0 clean sweep over Canada in Kirtipur retained their special home streak of wins in One-Day Internationals to 15 and also helped the rising associate rivals pip regional giants Pakistan and Sri Lanka among Asian teams with most victories in their last 25 men's ODIs.

The spirited rivals are now placed second on the list of the subcontinent's elite league of teams playing the One-Day format with 18 wins in their last 25 matches. Behind only numero uno Team India, who have clinched 20 wins in their previous 25 set of ODI games.

Nepal missed out on qualification for the ICC World Cup 2023 after failing to secure the top 2 slots at the global qualifiers in Zimbabwe but have been enjoying their time out in the ICC CWC League 2.

India defeated them in the two countries' only ODI clash during the Asia Cup 2023 in September and dominated their way to the final in the quadrennial event which followed. Rohit Sharma's men defeated the Australia 2-1 in between the two assignments and also upstaged South Africa with a same scoreline in December.

Sri Lanka, who have had a mixed bag of last six months playing ODIs, stand at third with 17 wins after taking an unassailable 2-0 lead over Afghanistan in their ongoing series. They enjoyed clean slate through the global qualifiers and reached the final of the Asia Cup, before enduring a disastrous World Cup campaign on Indian shores.

The mercurial Pakistan side failed to reach the final of the Asia Cup they jointly hosted while also missing out on the semifinals of the World Cup. They're placed fourth in the list of most wins for Asian sides in last 25 ODIs with 15 victories.

Notably, Bangladesh are lagging behind on seventh with just nine wins in their last 25 matches as they went through the Asia Cup winning only two matches of the campaign and also attained wins in just two of their World Cup games. Above them are fifth-placed UAE with 14 wins and Oman with 10 victories, respectively.
