Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan To Bag BCCI's Fast Bowling Contract Soon: Reports

As per a BCCI official, LSG pacers Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan have been identified as promising prospects for BCCI's latest addition to the groundbreaking fast bowling annual contracts.
With the aim of encouraging aspiring fast bowlers, BCCI announced a new category of annual contracts known as 'Fast Bowling contracts' earlier this year.
Under this group, pacers who couldn't fetch a grade-level contract were promised a decent sum of money along with privileges that come with central contracts.
For starters, Akash Deep, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Umran Malik, Yash Dayal, and Vidwath Kaverappa were named as fast bowling contract holders for this calendar year.
And if the latest rumours are to be believed, the list could have a couple of more additions by the end of IPL 2024.
Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan to reap big rewards soon!
A BCCI source allegedly told Inside Sports that LSG fast bowlers Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan remain on the apex body's radar for potential additions to the fast bowling contact list.
The selection committee has had internal discussions and is receiving additional inputs on Mayank and Mohsin's true potential and talent.
Notably, Mayank Yadav set the IPL stage on fire on his debut this year by clocking 155 kmph velocity on the speedometer. He was largely successful in the initial few games before a side strain injury got him sidelined.
Moreover, Mayank is slated to receive a big break as India's probable backup bowler for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
On the other hand, Mohsin Khan has been around for a while now. In 47 T20s, he has 64 wickets at an economy rate of 7.07
