Jaiswal, Jurel & Parag Shine Brightly In RR's Intra-Squad Match Before IPL 2024

Rajasthan Royals franchise held an intra-squad match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur as a part of their pre-season IPL 2024 training regime. 

Young batters Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag and Shubham Dubey maximised the occasion by clubbing rapid half-centuries, with speedster Kuldeep Sen making the most from his three-over bowling spell at the venue.

Rajasthan Royals, led by Sanju Samson, are set to face Lucknow Super Giants in their opening match of the IPL 2024 on March 24.


Jaiswal, Dhruv and Parag crack sparkling 50s in training

Rajasthan Royals young guns Yashasvi Jaiswal (31-ball 58), Dhruv Jurel (23-ball 62), Riyan Parag (28-ball 55) and Shubman Dubey (22-ball 53) all listed blistering half-centuries during their intra-squad match at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

Madhya Pradesh-based fast bowler Kuldeep Sen also made the most of his training session by picking up a wicket and conceding just 19 runs off his three overs.

Several Rajasthan Royals players commenced their IPL 2024 training at their Jaipur-based home venue earlier this week. 

A number of overseas recruits like Trent Boult and Nandre Burger have already arrived in Rajasthan to join the rest of their colleagues.

As per the phase one of IPL 2024 schedule unveiled by the BCCI, the Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals will face LSG on March 24 in their opening match of the competition. The much-awaited contest will be staged at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
