India To Tour Zimbabwe For 5 T20Is In July 2024

India is all set to tour Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series in July 2024 after the conclusion of T20 World Cup 2024 which is to be played in Caribbean and USA. The series is scheduled to start on 6th of July and the final game will be played on 14th of July.

All the games will be played at iconic Harare Sports Club and the series will be a big boost for Zimbabwe who have failed to qualify for the T20 World Cup.  The third T20I will be a night affair as the match will start at 6 PM local time while other T20Is will start at 1 PM local time.  

Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani expressed his pleasure over India touring Zimbabwe and called it a massive series for the African nation.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting India for a T20I series in July in what will be our biggest international attraction at home this year. “The game of cricket has always immensely benefited from India’s influence and dedication to the sport, and I would like to say a huge thank you to the BCCI for committing to tour Zimbabwe once again. 


 “The significance and magnitude of this tour cannot be over-emphasised, especially as it is coming at a time we are working round the clock to re-establish ourselves as a force to reckon with at the highest level of the game.”


India last toured Zimbabwe for an ODI series in 2022 but the bilateral T20I series between the two was played back in 2016. Both the teams met in the T20 World Cup 2022 as well where India came out on top but with Zimbabwe missing from the marquee event this time, they would be looking to seize this opportunity.
