The 17th edition of IPL 2024 is up and running in style and in the 11th match of the season, we have Lucknow Super Giants up against Punjab Kings. LSG have started the season on a losing note while Punjab Kings have won and lost one. This is also the first game at the Ekana Stadium and LSG will be hoping that they get things in order in this game. 

So, the visitors, PBKS have a tough ask on their hands, and let's see what could be their playing XI of this all-important game.

In the two games so far, PBKS have gone with the opening duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow. However, Bairstow has not looked in his elements and has failed in both the games. Punjab Kings have an option of Sikandar Raza and Rilee Rossouw in their ranks and one of them can come in the place of Bairstow.

Raza has been in good form in recent times and provides an all-round option with crafty spin bowling and flexibility as a batter. Prabhsimran Singh can move up as an opener and Raza can bat at 4 or 5 which provides more depth to PBKS.  Also, the pitch at Ekana Stadium is likely to assist spinners more, and this is a great opportunity for PBKS to give Raza a game.

The rest of the line-up is likely to remain same with Livingstone, Sam Curran and Rabada filling the overseas spots. Jitesh Sharma with the bat and Arshdeep Singh with the ball also need to do more along with Harshal Patel who has blown hot and cold so far.

Harpreet Brar has done brilliantly so far, and it is time for Rahul Chahar to get his act together and deliver a big performance. Overall, PBKS look a balanced team on paper and let's see how they execute their skills when they take the field against KL Rahul and Co. at Lucknow on 30th of March.

Impact Players:  Arshdeep Singh, Rilee Rossouw, Tanay Thyagarajan, Harpreet Bhatia, and Vidhwath Kaverappa.

Note: Arshdeep Singh will be in the starting XI if PBKS bowl first and then Prabhsimran Singh can come in as an Impact Player in the second half.
