On Friday, Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in the second ODI of the ongoing three-match series on home soil. The first match was memorable from the Tigers' perspective, as they secured a thumping six-wicket win despite a few jitters.

Chasing a moderate 256-run target, Bangladesh were down on the mat at one stage, placed at 92 for four in 15.3 overs. However, sensational unbeaten knocks from Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim steadied the ship for them, guiding them to a clinical win.

Meanwhile, the batting form of Litton Das is a big concern for them as they gear up for the second game. In his last four white-ball innings, Litton has sustained a lean patch, accumulating only 43 runs, including two ducks against the Lankan Lions.

Furthermore, since 2023, Litton has amassed only 651 ODI runs at an abysmal average of 25.03. So, if he is dropped based on poor form, Anamul Haque Bijoy will replace him at the top order.

However, as the hosts emerged victorious in the last game, they might give Litton another opportunity, considering what he has done for the team over the years.

The rest of the Tigers' lineup is expected to remain unchanged, with skipper Shanto shouldering batting responsibilities alongside Soumya Sarkar, Towhid Hridoy, Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam will play as the spinners, while the lethal trio of Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed and Tanzim Hasan Sakib will comprise the pace battery.
