Rajasthan Royals' opener Jos Buttler celebrated his 100th IPL appearance in grand style by delivering a match-winning performance against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). 

With an exceptional century, Buttler surpassed Rohit Sharma to claim the eighth position among the highest run-scorers in IPL history.

Buttler showcased his sublime form throughout the match. Following the early dismissal of his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal, Buttler took charge and scored an unbeaten 100 off just 58 deliveries, guiding the team to chase down a 184-run target in the final over.

His magnificent century propelled his overall T20 run tally to 11,281 runs, including seven tons and 80 fifties. 

Also, he surpassed Rohit Sharma in the list of highest T20 run-scorers. Despite Rohit's impressive record of 11,225 runs in 429 matches at an average of 30.66 and a strike-rate of nearly 134, Buttler's stellar performance elevated him to the ninth position.

In addition to Buttler's heroics, RR captain Sanju Samson played a remarkable innings, contributing 69 runs. 

Rajasthan Royals secured their fourth consecutive victory in IPL 2024, propelling themselves to the top position in the points table with under the captaincy of Sanju Samson.
