The focus shifts from Guwahati to Raipur, where India will face Australia in the fourth T20I in the ongoing five-match series. India leads the tally 2-1 currently. The 4th match of the bilateral series is going to be staged at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur and is set to commence at 7:00 PM IST.

Over 400 runs have been scored over both innings in each of the series' three matches. While the Indian team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, won the first two matches, Australia got their first taste of success in the third T20I at Assam's capital city of Guwahati.

However, Mukesh Kumar who missed the last game due to his marriage ceremony will be joining the team before the fourth T20I. In addition, Rajasthan pacer, Deepak Chahar has been for the final two games. In addition, Shreyas Iyer is expected to be available for the series' final games and will serve as the team's vice-captain.

So how will the Indian playing XI look in this contest? Let us have a quick glance at it.

Openers: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad

India have found a solid opening pair in Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the course of the ongoing bilateral series. The former scored a quick fifty in Trivandrum in the second T20I while the latter stormed a marvellous century in the third T20I against Australia.

Jaiswal has the ability to charge the bowlers in quick time, making full use of the powerplay. His partner takes a bit of time to settle but has the ability to switch gears and play a big knock in the course of time.

Middle Order: Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh

The Indian middle order will be bolstered by the presence of Shreyas Iyer. In that case, Tilak Varma could be the one to make way for the Mumbaikar. Varma was seen struggling with the bat against a change of pace in the last game. Iyer is also the vice-captain for the remaining two encounters so his place is certain.

Ishan Kishan and Rinku Singh, the two left-handers have been dynamic with the bat and brought quick runs at the need of the hour. While Kishan bats a bit up the order, Rinku’s role is more like a finisher. Both batters will be key for the Indian set-up in the bilateral series and keeping in mind the series on queue.

Suryakumar Yadav is the second highest run-scorer for India in the ongoing white ball series. The right-handed batter has lead the team with the bat and his heroics in the first game is just an example to cite. He scored 80 off 42 balls in the series curtain raiser and toppled the visitors in their defence of 208 runs.

All-rounder: Axar Patel

Axar Patel has been economical with the ball in hand for the hosts. Although he hasn't bagged a lot of wickets, bowling tight at the stumps has yielded good impact for the side. His batting is yet to come to the forte as the Indian top order has performed brilliantly.

Bowlers: Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar and Arshdeep Singh

Ravi Bishnoi has been brilliant with his wrist spin and often gave mighty breakthroughs. The Aussies have struggled to pick his variations quite often and it will be seen how they fare in the next two assignments.

Avesh Khan had a mixed outing in the last game. He was among the wickets but gave away runs too. Another such person who leaked a plethora of runs was Prasidh Krishna. He conceded 68 runs in his quota, the most by an Indian bowler in T20Is.

Mukesh Kumar, who missed out in the last game due to his marriage, is supposed to join for the fourth T20I. He will be key with the ball and has been the best among the bowlers alongside Arshdeep Singh. Although they have gone over 6 runs per over previously, the duo managed to contain runs at some junctures of the game.
