We are moving towards the fag end of the league stage of IPL 2024, and in the 59th match of IPL 2024, we have Gujarat Titans taking on Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
GT are at the bottom of the points table and need to win all their matches with a hope that other results go their way as well. CSK, on the other hand, are in a good position, but they also cannot afford slip-up with plenty of teams breathing down their neck.
So, with both teams itching to grab two crucial points, let's see what could be GT's probable playing XI for this all-important clash.
Wriddhiman Saha has not been at his best this season and has scored just 136 runs in 9 innings. However, GT do not have a good back-up Indian wicketkeeper and that means if Saha is dropped, they need to bring in Matthew Wade in his place. The Aussie has also not done anything significant for GT, but he might get another go against CSK on Friday.
Rest of the batting line-up is likely to remain same and it is high time that the big players like Shubman Gill and David Miller contribute big.
